After concluding an epic experience at the RMNP, our crew was hungry and ready for an epic meal. It was late, and many places were already closed (What??? Closed by 9 on. Friday night?) Who knew Estes was such an early to bed town? But we lucked out and found our way to La Cocina de la Mama (Mother's Kitchen) and with a name like that it has to be good right? Well, you would be correct. This place is tiny, with a family feel, well appointed, nice tables, and it's clean!! The service... top notch. The food? Fresh, hot, and authentic. If you are looking for good food in a real family setting...youve found it!

Love! Love! Love this place. Our Air Bnb locals suggested this as a favorite of theirs, and wow, it was so good. I love fish tacos and get them all over the world, and these were probably my favorite... Ever. My boyfriend got the tamales and they were also very good. We had great margaritas as well. Great food and drinks! Great service! and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio!
