This place is a gem! The food is top tier with amazing flavors. I especially enjoyed the salad It was very fresh and all the ingredients tasted like a tropical explosion with one bite. One thing I would recommend not to do is skip dessert at this place I know the calories might not be needed but this place is one place you can throw that way of thinking out the window. Get deserts that will leave you very satisfied. The overall experience was excellent!

My first proper lunch when I was in DC one week ago. I really had a relaxed and joyful time here for a simple lunch before heading to the ballet performance at the Kennedy Center. Enjoyed my pasta 🍝 and the excellent service. I have to say, the service in the U.S. is way better than what I’ve had in London ~ No need to look around for eye contact; they’re always on time, but never in a rushed sort of pace! Totally to the point. Only thing I was missing was good company~

Visited April 2025 We tried three dishes: • Estate al Mare: Gorgeous plating, but the rockfish tartare was underseasoned. More visual than flavorful. • Duck Hunt (duck confit ravioli): The best of the night. Rich, flavorful filling with a lemon butter sauce that brought it all together. A clear standout. • 40-Layer Lasagna: Visually striking, but underdelivered. The truffle flavor was either missing or extremely faint. Also—if you look closely at the layers, it’s definitely not 40. Count it. Overall, solid service and attention to presentation, but some dishes didn’t live up to their menu descriptions.

Saw this restaurant on Instagram and the 40 later lasagna is definitely well known to people. The service was out of this world The servers work in pairs The drinks were excellent and the food was amazing. A good place for a date night and excellent Italian food.
