This is clearly a long-established restaurant. Walking in, you can sense the atmosphere of an old eatery—it must have been beautifully decorated back in the day, but now it feels somewhat dated, with a dim and slightly greasy ambiance. That said, the service and food are truly excellent. We ordered sushi and sashimi, and the ingredients were very fresh. While the ingredients weren’t top-tier, they were impressive for a restaurant in this price range. The presentation was thoughtful, and the portions were generous. Overall, it offered great value for the price. If you live nearby and enjoy Japanese cuisine, it’s a convenient option to order takeout and enjoy it at home.

Kumo Asian Bistro is a gem! The sushi is not only beautiful but also incredibly tasty, with fresh flavors in every bite. The service is top-notch—friendly and attentive staff made our experience even better. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious sushi in a welcoming atmosphere. Kumo’s sushi is truly the best in the DMV! The owner uses super fresh ingredients—just as good as Sushi Nakazawa. I got takeout, and it was still delicious at home. Their newest roll is especially amazing—a little spicy, a little sweet, and perfectly crunchy. Plus, the price is great. Highly recommend!

This review is for takeout. I ordered the Love Boat for Two, and it exceeded expectations. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were delicious. The portion size was generous—easily enough for three people. Highly recommended!
