First Time here with my wife. Kerrie was our waitress and she really does an outstanding job !! She's a keeper! My wife had the fish sandwich and fries and I had the Fried chicken sandwich. Both tasted amazing. BUT what was over the top? There French Fries, fresh cut and seasoned with salt perfectly. No Ketchup needed. We split there hot carrot cake al mode. OH MY GOD!! Best EVER!! I wanted more, lol. Highly Recommend this Restaurant. Friendly staff and managed well.

Spectacular service and great food all around! When possible, reserve a table ahead of time because they're always busy. We ate on the patio on an unseasonably warm mint in April, and as the sun set and the temperature dropped, the manager on duty happily lit the fireplace for us. As far as the food went, the walleye was perfectly cooked, flaky, and scrumptious. Two other table favorites were sausage rigatoni (quite rich if you have a finicky stomach, but delicious!) and salmon. My husband's burger came out medium well instead of medium, but it was still flavorful and enjoyable. I recommend the smashed blueberry and mint cocktail, which wasn't super sweet and the flavors go well together. The night was extra special because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, and the staff made her feel important and special. She got house made strawberry topped cheesecake for dessert, and it was delectable. Everyone at the table shared because we were all quite full after dinner. We will definitely return!

Excellent food options to choose from the menu. Great place for a bridal shower or a family gathering in the Lodge Room. A gluten free menu is available. The food was delicious and exceptionally good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was similar to a lodge in the mountains. The best part of eating here was the chef made the food to your dietary needs. Overall, I will return in the near future.

We made the reservation for 4:30 on a Saturday, and I have to admit, I was pretty excited because I had never eaten at Karl’s Cabin—just takeout during the pandemic. Our table was ready when we arrived, and the service was excellent from the start. We started with the creamy crab dip and French onion soup—both were delicious. I ordered the half slab of BBQ ribs, and I have to say, these were the best ribs I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfect bark, amazing seasoning, and incredibly tender. My wife had the Shrimp and Scallop Angelina and loved it. Karl’s Cabin is definitely going into our regular rotation. If you haven’t been to Karl’s Cabin, I highly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been here multiple times and they never disappoint. The wait staff are always super friendly and describe the menu selections with great detail. They give great suggestions and often know the specials very well. The food is always on point with great presentation and quality. I’ve never had a bad meal there and enjoy trying something new every time. Their vegan options are great to see as well. The atmosphere is perfect with a distinct look and still has great charm even after the renovations post fire. Definitely recommend!
