My friends and I were looking for a great sushi spot in Colorado while visiting from NY. This place did not disappoint! Starting with the miso soup we were taken aback with how amazing each dish was. The miso soup was so good, we ordered it multiple times. The sushi was prepared on the spot with great presentation and warmth from our server. Our personal favorite was the Godzilla roll! A few of us ordered the chicken Teriyaki and we were not disappointed. The chicken went well with the sauce and the salad & vegetables added to the flavor. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good sushi spot!

Update 2025: Still the best. Still 38 bucks for all you can eat sushi. Food is top-notch. We always do all you can eat. It's amazing. Wait staff is awesome, too. Update December 2023: I've stopped by and taken pictures of the menu and more food. This place is still my favorite in the springs, and we lived in Tokyo for 3 years.

10/10 would go again. Andrew, our waiter was a hoot and created a friendly fun atmosphere. We were in a search for an all you can eat sushi and had poor luck with pricing at other locations. Kanpai though really gives you your bang for your buck and is clean, fun, and friendly.

Went here for lunch today and it was pretty nice. The place isn't too big but plenty of natural light from all the glass windows. It was very clean inside. As soon as we got in the door the server was waiting for us with menus in hand to walk us to a table. Very prompt. When we were seated he brought over waters and let us know he will be right back to give us time to look over the menu and asked if we would like anything else to drink besides water. He provided really great service! I decided to go with the all you can eat option because for the price of 2.5 rolls you can get a many rolls, hand rolls, and Nigeria you want! Their nigiri was good, good fish to rice ratio. The rolls were good because they didn't use too much rice which allowed you to not get full as quickly. I really liked the spider roll and lobster roll, ended up ordering two of those. Also ordered several hand rolls which also were good. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I've ever had but it's definitely better than average. No complaints from me. Best part is all of it was only $41 total with tax included! The only thing I thought was odd was that you can only get 1 of each of the appetizers which was comprised of salad, miso soup, edamame, Shuman, gyoza, mussel, and you can get ice cream for dessert. So you can get 1 of each of just what you want but you're limited to 1. Not a big deal though because you get unlimited of the good stuff. I would definitely eat here again!

Kanpai on Dublin is, without question, the best value sushi experience I’ve ever had—and I say that as someone who left the restaurant stuffed, euphoric, and vaguely worried I might never digest again. For just $40, I committed what I can only describe as a culinary heist. The all-you-can-eat menu is generous, the quality is shockingly good for the price, and the rolls are creative without being over-the-top. Every plate came out fast, fresh, and beautifully plated. Even more impressive? The staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind—no matter how many times I shamefully ordered “just one more” roll. They made the whole experience feel like a celebration rather than a feeding frenzy. If you’re in Colorado Springs and love sushi, go here. Wear stretchy pants. Bring your hunger. And tip well—you’re getting a hell of a deal.
