First time eating at this location. The first one was Bellflower but I really like the ambiance here the most. And the fact it's in Long Beach has makes this one my new favorite too. Great location across the street from the Convention Center. Sugar skull themed art the walls throughout the restaurant. They play lively music. Upbeat and fun. Really tasty margaritas. Staff was friendly.

I've never eaten at one of these establishments before, but my food was good. The taquitos were an appetizer but big enough to fill one person. The tacos were also hearty. The atmosphere was very pretty. I would return to this location again.

This place was a absolute hit!!! Came here for my girlfriends birthday. To start off the service was A-1 shout out to “Brenda” for that amazing food recommendations ! The presentation of the food and drinks was also a hit haha. To top it off the vibes were great. Would highly recommend coming here if you want that good Latin vibe 🤗

Love going here for brunch! Bottomless mimosas or micheladas for $20?!? Yes, please! I've gone with groups a few times now and they're always very accommodating. The vibes are always good, the servers are friendly and attentive. If you go for brunch, the chilaquiles, pozole, burrito, and lechera French toast are all delicious! This most recent visit, I ordered a margarita flight and although they are a little strong, they were still delicious. You can use the meter parking on the street or 2 hours validation parking in the pike outlets parking structure

Not sure why all the bad reviews. We stayed at the Hyatt centric and kalaveras was a short walk. Everyone from the hostess,server bartender…pretty much everyone there was amazing. I’m nobody but I felt like I was somebody by the way they treated us. Food was delicious. We tried the quesabirrias and the tacos governadores. Both were good but the gorvenador tacos were my favorite. Also had a michelada and a drink called the vela which had tequila,mango,mezcal and other stuff. Both hit the spot!We had the flan which was creamy and delicious. Good size dessert for 2 people. On top of all that the decor was pretty cool. Worth stopping by and don’t get pushed away from the bad reviews
