To everyone who recommended the Salt & Pepper Squid—thank you! It's perfectly battered and so delicious that I'll definitely be ordering it every time. I also tried the Bok Choy and Tofu soup, and it’s exactly what I want on a cozy winter night or even a sick day. I read some reviews about service issues, but my experience was great! I placed an order through their website, scheduled a pick-up time, and everything was ready right on time. The younger lady who helped me was kind and efficient, and I’m looking forward to trying more dishes from their traditional menu. Highly recommend!

Can't go wrong here!. Amazing food! We had the Crispy Duck, Sweet and Sour chicken, and Fried Curry chicken. I need the curry chicken in my life every day!

Jin Chan Zhang has persevered for years as a staple Boulder Chinese restaurant, and the quality is still great. I highly recommend supporting this super tasty, family-run, hole-in-the-wall spot, as well as the Asian market that’s just next door.

This is an amazing Chinese restaurant. I can honestly say that this was the best experience I have ever encountered at any restaurant. The food was top notch, service was unbeatable, and I truly felt as though I was back at home. My wife and I ordered the Szechuan spicy chicken, fried rice, and Mapo Tofu. The flavors were indescribably amazing. The chicken was so tender, the fried rice full of flavor, and lastly, and best, the mapo tofu had the most delectable numbing spice flavor I have ever had in my entire life (I am not exaggerating). The service was top notch, damn near god-tier. The lady was extremely kind and warm during the entire experience. It was as though we were family. We even got the opportunity to talk to the chef and he was so humble and genuine. He even asked for feedback as to how to make his food better. I visited China back in 2015, and ever since, I have been searching for a restaurant that replicated the same taste (even exceeded) of when I visited China. Out of 5 stars, I give it 7! I WILL be back.
