The food was FANTASTIC. Delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was a bit slow for my liking. The atmosphere was really busy and lively, just wished there was a spot away from all the commotion

This is a really cool place! The Monday night all night happy hour is the way to go. We ate tons of shrimp, they were so good. Staff here is exceptional.

This place was fantastic. Me and my daughter came here. The service was outstanding. The manager was very lovely. The food was really delicious. The ambience was really nice. I highly recommend. It is an overall great experience. Within walking distance from where we stayed at the Maven Hotel in the LoDo District.

Thank goodness for Jax for bringing the freshest seafood to landlocked CO! Innovative, seasonal menu (poblano crema with perfectly seared scallops - yes!) changes often and never disappoints. Would like to see more local fish on the menu to highlight how seafood can be more sustainable. Jax is committed to the community, offering proceeds from NA cocktails to local non profits. Service was a tad slow, but the food was right on time! Can't wait to return for the perfect umami of the crab fried rice, the expertly balanced flavors of the scallops' vegetable and poblano base or the crusty pepper coating on the seared ahi.

This was my second time at Jax, the first time was for Christmas eve dinner, where they had a fest of the 7 fishes. I really enjoyed all the food that I had, so I decided to come here on a Wednesday after work. It was nice enough outside, so I decided to sit on the patio, which felt like the best choice. This place has a cool interior and the staff were all very friendly. I started off with a few appetizers from their happy hour menu. I had a BLT salad, which seemed very straight forward, good amount of bacon tomato's and dressing 6.5/10. I also tried the gumbo fries, which I felt pretty happy with. I would say that the gumbo was good and the fries were decent, it felt like generic restaurant fries, instead of something homemade 6.9/10. For an entree I had the North Carolina catfish blackened, excellent piece 9/10. The highlight on the plate was the crispy anson mill grit cakes 10/10, excellent! All in all, it was easy to find metered parking and very happy with my choice to come here. I will look forward to returning soon!
