Istanbul Restaurant is good, the food is great Turkish, and the staff are very friendly. The only note is that the smell of the kitchen is very strong and causes headaches.

We were passing through Denver and got snowed in for the night and much to our delight discovered the wonderful Istanbul Cafe the next morning! We skipped right over the hotel breakfast and walked straight there. The owner who was at this location that morning, was so very friendly, giving us a tour of the different selections, explained how things were made, and offered samples to try! The Borek we selected was absolutely delicious, flaky and savory. We also ordered one of the breakfast platter options offered. It was refreshing and satiating with fresh cheeses, bread, olives, and tomato/cucumbers. All of it was deliciously mix and matchable and enjoyable together in one bite. The Turkish coffee and tea, were excellent with the perfect taste just how it comes, or you can ask for it how you want it! And the Baklava was exceptional as well. Don't pass it up! In addition to the food, the owner and staff were also exceptional. The owner made sure to take time with each person who came in the cafe and and even stepped outside with us for a moment as we departed. So very nice! The environment was bright, comfortable, and extremely clean. We will definitely be back next time we come through Denver! Thank you for a truly enjoyable experience!

I loved the borek and the baklava. The Turkish coffee was really fun with the sugar cubes, too. The staff is really great and love going here!

I been meaning to go here for awhile, too bad I'm moving, this place is top notch very relaxing atmosphere, I got a kunefe! The young lady was very nice she gave me samples while I waited and she gave me a complimentary tea, both the kunefe and tea were exceptional! Definitely coming here when I return to visit family
