What an incredible find for not just plant-based eaters and vegans, but delicious food all around for anybody! My friend recommended I swing by here for lunch one day and I couldn't be happier. They serve a variety of bowls, sandwiches, and dessert options with everything clearly marked both online and in-store. I love a good spot where I can customize my own power bowl and they let me do just that. My bowl was a mix of brown rice and greens, with vegan chicken as my protein and a combination of various toppings with a jalapeno dressing. The end result was this incredibly filling bowl that was healthy, filling, and delicious. It could've been two servings but I just enjoyed it so much for it to last more than one sitting. I also got a side of their mac n cheese and it was fabulous. Very creamy without that synthetic cheese taste that you often find in vegan cheeses. It was the perfect accompaniment to my bowl. Ordering online was easy and pickup was a breeze. The staff were so friendly and thanked me for choosing them. No, thank YOU for an incredible meal that really tasted and felt like it was made with love and care. If you're dining in, they have seating inside as well as patio tables/chairs.

For a casual vegan meal, this place is really special. We got a LOT of different dishes as a group, because we wanted to try so many different things, and each thing was better than the next! Special shoutouts to the seasoned beef tacos, the Mac & Cheese, and any of the bowls. Even a friend who grabbed the leftovers out of our fridge later raved about them! Service attentive and friendly beyond our expectations.

The food and service was remarkable! I landed in LAX after a 5 hour flight hungry. I googled nearest plant based restaurants and Hey Sunshine did not disappoint! Arriving around lunchtime, they were busy but still took time to greet me, welcome me, make suggestions and also serve me (dine in). I had the Jackfruit BBQ sandwich and beef tacos. Both were seasoned well and filling! If my stomach had any more room, I would have opted for dessert!

Hey Sunshine is such a gem. Heather and Jenny are honestly the sweetest people!! You can really tell they really care about what they do and about every person who walks through the door! Sadly this is something that gets increasingly rare with other places so being there always makes me feel so happy ☺️ The food is healthy and delicious. Everything is made with love and with high quality ingredients. One of those places that leave your body & soul feeling good long after the visit 🥰🥰

New Fav Cafe in LA! Super yummy, fresh, wholesome food at affordable prices! The owner is the sweetest person ever and greeted us when we got there. Chill vibes, lovely decor and indoor-outdoor seating. We got the bowl, the burger, the drinks were great and the fries were literally the best fries we have had! The dips are super good too. I just hope they open many branches because we need more places that provide balanced meals like this. Oh and parking is easy and free so yes 5 stars for this spot! Def going back for more!
