Wow! Definitely one of the best sushi places we visited in Denver. What a nice surprise. We came here just because we were in the area, but it turned out to be a great experience. The food is amazing. We tried different sushi and sashimi dishes. It's been a while since I had such fresh, flavorful, and balanced sushi. Service was great, the place is big and was full, but the wait was not long at all. We were able to reserve a table online just a few hours before

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Hana Matsuri Denver! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but the real star here is the food. The menu is incredibly unique—it’s not just your standard sushi fare. Each dish is crafted with creativity and care, offering combinations you won’t find anywhere else in Denver. The freshness of the fish is next level. You can taste the quality in every bite, and it’s clear the chefs take sourcing seriously. Every piece of nigiri practically melted in my mouth, and the specialty rolls were bursting with flavor. You’ll want to try everything on the menu—and then come back to do it again. I know I am. If you’re a sushi lover or just someone who appreciates top-tier food, Hana Matsuri is a must. Five stars without hesitation.

Unique and delightful sushi experience. Don't miss the daily specials. We loved the eggplant miso. We tried and loved the tuna flight. Also enjoyed the seared salmon roll and the seared tuna roll.

Every dish had intention, with flavor profiles that balanced familiarity and surprise. The variety of fish was completely unexpected! The French influence was subtle but smart, adding texture and tone to an otherwise Japanese foundation. And the cocktail pairings? One of the most creative we’ve had — fully customized, never overpowering, always evolving alongside the meal. What set this apart wasn’t flash or exclusivity. It was the care. The small details. The confidence to do less and mean more. It felt like fine dining without the stiffness, like the chef was speaking directly to us through the food. I like to think I’m a fish connoisseur and this is some of the best sushi in Denver. Very fresh, well priced, delicious flavors and fantastic service. Highly recommend the aburi sweet shrimp, NZ King Salmon and aburi salmon belly. The tuna flight was phenomenal and the MUST TRY appetizer is the eggplant. I don’t like eggplant…this was the best eggplant I have ever had. The staff was also very knowledgeable - specifically Alex! Enjoy!
