The Goldburger burger was absolutely delicious with the added pastrami! Also had the curly fries which had a little slice to it and went well with the Spicy Ranch sauce. Loved the string lights and hanging planted pots lining the ceiling giving off a warm, welcoming ambiance while underneath two rows of countertops provided seating against the wall.

Goldburger in Los Angeles offers a solid burger experience that hits many of the right notes but ultimately falls just short of greatness. The smashed patty is cooked well, with a nice char and juicy texture, while the melted cheddar adds a satisfying layer of richness. The grilled onions bring a sweet, caramelized flavor but also introduce a somewhat stringy, slimy texture that detracts from the overall bite. Mine came with the special sauce, which, while flavorful, turned the burger into a slippery, saucy mess, making the patties slide around uncomfortably. The soft bun is serviceable but nothing to write home about—it gets the job done without standing out. The curly fries, on the other hand, steal the show. They’re crispy, perfectly seasoned, and come with a smoky, tangy dipping sauce that elevates them to a level of indulgence that outshines the burger itself. Goldburger’s retro, walk-up vibe does add some charm, but the overall meal lands at a respectable four stars. It’s good, reliable comfort food, but it doesn’t quite deliver the wow factor that would make it a top-tier LA smashburger destination. Worth trying if you’re in the area, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again.

Great smash burger spot in highland park. Ordered goldburger to try the original. I added shredded lettuce since it didn’t come with it but personally, not a fan of shredded lettuce. Goldburger was little too heavy for me so I will be ordering a single patty next time. Yes, it’s a $10-12 per burger. However, the grass fed beef and was delicious. I thought it’s worth the price/portion since we live in society where breakfast burritos are $20. Overall, perfect crispness of patty and soft bun really made the burger. Curly fries were delicious and might choose that over regular fries next time. Wish there is a proper seating but for daytime, it is a cute area to hang and eat a burger! They messed up our order but workers were super nice and fixed their mistake immediately. Would definitely comeback!

Decided to give this burger joint a try and it did not disappoint. Got a regular burger and one on toast and they were both fantastic. Good portions, not too expensive decently priced. Everything was exceptionally fresh and tasted amazing. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a LA for sure. The service was fast and the crew working was fantastic. Their sauces were good as well. We’ll definitely make my way back at some point.

Been wanting to try this place out being a burger afficianado and reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. I dont usually like to give to hipster spots in now gentrified areas they've invaded with attitudes they bring but, this place is a rule to that exception this time & their food is amazing here. I went with the Goldburger (add+ Pastrami), Fries & Craft Soda (Ginger Ale). Perfectly Juicy Burger without creating a soggy fall apart bun, which held its texture consistently thoughout and the juices did not overpower the flavorful meat, cheese & pastrami. The bun had a very nice clean taste and texture, a job well done they do here. Restaurant, Tables, Floors, Sidewalk, Unisex Restroom very clean and didn't have any lame Pronoun Verbiage. Kitchen looked very clean. Friendly, Helpful Staff want to please their guests. None seem lazy and they keep themselves busy with work. DON'T FORGET TO TIP for their Service they earned.
