Food was great! I got haddock Francese. Good portion on fish, could have had a bit more pasta. Fresh and flavorful. Garlic bread is good but a bit overpriced. Fried calamari was good and plentiful as an appetizer. Everyone enjoyed their meal, shrimp scamp, chicken broccoli in Alfredo and chicken Francese. I do think it could use some updating inside. Some lights were out, pictures on wall were crooked and table was uneven. Definitely crammed a lot of tables in the space. I will say that our server was very pleasant and accommodating, attentive and checked on us just the right amount.

I love it here! The food is authentic and the wait staff is fun! We started with fried calamari and white mussels and both were mouthwatering and flavorful. For an entree, I had the veal saltimboca which was tender and juicy with the perfect amount of fresh mozzarella and prosciutto. If you want good Italian food, this place should be at the top of your list! It’s the best we’ve had!

This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. From a delicious craft mocktail to perfectly charred and beautifully colored steak tips to some of the tastiest lamb we’ve had…and not to mention the homemade pasta! Soft and succulent and cooked to perfection. The gravies and sauces so decadent and mouthwatering the flavors had our tastebuds eager for more! Our owner is mostly Italian and has a 100% Italian mom and he was so impressed by this food. He said, regardless of where you are from you definitely need to try Gaetano’s in Stoneham, MA. Literally the best Italian food around!
