I had the country fried chicken sandwich for lunch and it was amazing! They didn’t skim out on the chicken breast like other places. It was succulent full of flavor and moist once you bite into it. The egg was a perfect sunny side up filled with egg yolk. One thing I recommend is adding a little honey to your sandwich. You get best of both worlds of sweetness and saltiness combined. The perfect combo in my opinion. I must say this is without a doubt my favorite chicken sandwich place and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. In addition, the staffing was very approachable and friendly. All in all, this is a great place to hangout, grab a quick meal, and did I mention it is by the beach too

Had a chance to dine this last weekend. It was busy, which was a good sign. Ordered the build a Benny with ham, chorizo chili cheese hash, and the berry cheesecake waffles. The food was amazing! We also ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich with waffles as the bun, of course we forgot to take a picture, but it was delicious! All the food had good flavor, and good portion sizes had enough to take home for lunch. They had nice seating indoor and out, well kept. And it’s a plus that’s it’s right by the beach… I’ll definitely be back.

Hands down one of the best breakfast/lunch spots I’ve been to in a while. The customer service was amazing—super helpful, quick, and genuinely friendly. The staff offered great suggestions and really knew their stuff when it came to the menu. The vibe? Spot on. Chill, welcoming, and perfect for a laid-back bite. I ordered the RIBEYE STEAK & EGG sandwich and it was absolutely fire. Thin-sliced ribeye asada, sharp cheddar, fresh cracked over medium egg, lemon-dressed arugula, caramelized onions, roasted pepper chimichurri, and a smoked paprika spread—all stacked on a toasted Japanese milk bun. Every bite was flavorful and perfectly balanced. I added a side of chorizo chili to customize it and that took it to another level. Rich, spicy, and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend! If you’re in Long Beach, Egg Bred is a must. Can’t wait to go back.

A Delicious First Visit to Egg Bred! I just love trying out new places—especially when both the food and service are exceptional. That was exactly my experience at Egg Bred in Long Beach! Since it was my first time, I wanted to try everything, but I settled on the chicken and scrambled egg breakfast sandwich. Let me just say—wow. The eggs were scrambled perfectly fluffy, and the fried chicken breast was tender and crispy, tucked between two soft buns. It was seriously delicious. They serve the gravy on the side, which is a nice touch—but honestly, I didn’t even need it. A little hot sauce on that sandwich, and it absolutely made my morning. To top it off, I tried their rhost cold brew, which was both aromatic and strong—just the caffeine boost I needed. Overall, a great first-time dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

I had been waiting for this spot to open and finally had the time to stop in and visit. Super great experience! Lots to choose from in the menu. I can in a Sunday Toronto was busy, but they make everything to order and it didn’t take too long for my food. I got their Scramble me Softly breakfast sandwich and the biscuits and gravy. Both super tasty and filling. I also tried the Chili con carne hash which were good. The items were a good size and definitely shareable. Definitely going back again.
