This is THE place to go. We’ve done several cooking classes here — you might think you can only go to the north end for good Italian food, but you really need to just come here. Chef Jason and team have created cooking series that truly make cooking good food feel possible at home. Chef Jason’s Italian roots and homegrown boston perspective make for the perfect teacher! Every class we leave feeling not only full from delicious food but full on new ways to make pasta, pizza, and more! Each time too I’ve left with a new favorite wine — every class is stocked with a great wine selection, delicious snacks, all on top of the food you learn to make. The community built within Dave’s is one like no other — it’s cozy, homey, and truly authentic to them. You’ll know exactly why your food is being the made the way it is, all under the careful and fun instruction of your teacher. After class be sure to stop in the store for hand picked pantry items that are bound to become staples, or stop for dinner at Semolina Kitchen for one of the best meals you’ll have in the Boston area. We will be coming back and bringing friends!!

We had the best time at Chef Jason’s pasta making class. The class was small enough to be intimate but felt like a fun dinner party more than a formalized class. You can definitely tell the passion that goes into making their pasta so incredible, and that certainly made the class all the more fun. Highly recommend for any date night or friend / family outing!

Came in to pick up a particular bottle of wine for a Client back in California. Then I saw all of the wonderful fresh Pasta hanging over the counter and I thought HA! Bolognese sounds good for tonight. So I bought the wine, some fresh pasta, and some sauce. This place is fabulous! The desserts looked tempting as well. Anyone who knows me is aware that I have a soft spot for delis that offer delicious prepared foods as well as an extensive gourmet market area. The service was patient over the phone and helpful in person. I will be back! Respectfully Reviewed.
