This is our favorite restaurant ever and it is always consistently phenomenal. Tonight we had octopus, bone marrow tartare, trout crudo, kale Caesar and monkfish. Every dish was five stars.

My partner and I came here for a date night during the week. We had the White Lotus for drinks, which are delicious. For dinner, we had Denver Steaks, which were absolutely fantastic, easily the best steak entree I’ve had in years. Highly recommend this place to anyone for an upscale food experience.

We really enjoyed our experience at Crawford and son. You must get the bone marrow and tartare. I’m not a big fan of beef tartare but the way they put it together is magical. My husband got the Denver steak and it was so tender and flavorful. I don’t know how they made the steak so tasty, it also had a lovely sauce and delicious potato next to it. I got the carrot entree which sounds like it’s for vegetarians but this dish is so good and filling, everyone should try it. The carrots are glazed and perfect sitting on a wonderful bed farro and pea with a delicious sauce. We also got a few drinks, the bartender made a special drink for me which I absolutely loved, it was like an old fashioned with this nutty aftertaste. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The vibes at the restaurant were great. We will definitely go back.

My favorite restaurant anywhere, my husband and I visit any time we are in Raleigh. Been multiple times and this place never misses. On this latest visit we had the sea trout, Denver steak and the always-amazing bone marrow beef tartare - all scrumptious and beautiful presentation. Plate is clear every dish, every time. Fantastic service by Sydney (and a positive interaction always with every person we’ve encountered). Can’t wait to be back.

I made a reservation for a special occasion, being my first time I did not know what to expect. The menu is small, but with options for everyone. The food was delicious, the highlights of the night were the octopus and the duck but the rest was still very good. The desserts were well balanced, my favorite was the brownie but would recommend all of them. The service was great, from the recommendations to the attention. I always had water in my cup and always checking in. The only thing that surprised me was that other than saying congrats before sitting us down there was nothing else to make the day "extra special" but the food and the service made up for it.
