Food was very good, specifically we had the wonton soup for 2, the house version of Hong Kong crispy noodles, bbq pork fried rice and sesame chicken. (The crispy noodle pic is after I tossed them to start softening the noodle with the sauce, they were truly crispy upon serving)

I grew up in San Francisco and spent some of my earlier adulthood in New York where they have tremendous Chinese restaurants.. I always craved for shrimp in lobster sauce which, for some reason is not very easy to find at all in California. While visiting Walnut Creek, I tried China Palace because of the excellent reviews they received. To my great surprise, shrimp and lobster sauce was on the menu. It came out very fast and hot and was perfectly prepared. Just the way I like it. It was the best Chinese meal I have had in 20 years. The restaurant is family owned, and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere is moderate, but very clean and tidy with white table cloths. The server who I think must’ve been, the owner was very pleasant and greeted everyone as soon as they walked in the door. I suggest you patronize their business if you have an appreciation for Chinese food that is well prepared and served in clean and pleasant environment.
