Food was great! We ordered Mariscada a Costa brava, Arroz de marisco, octopus (on special menu) and a few oysters. You can find the full menu on their website. We liked everything, especially Arroz de marisco. A couple of surprises: 1) While some of the dishes have half lobster listed in the ingredients on the menu (like the first two we ordered); if you do wish to have the lobster in there, it's extra $5 per dish in addition to the listed price shown on the menu. 2) There is a no-cash fee being added to the bill, if you are paying with card. Other than that, food was great!

Giving five stars for the fact that they put free bread on the table. Good value and service, although it’s true that they charge about 3.7% for non-cash payments.

We came here for dinner after reading reviews. Nice quaint joint. Gentleman who was our waiter was a bit stern looking but otherwise was attentive and polite. The hardcopy menu which was passed to us did not have the updated prices (they have since increased their prices). Food was good esp the paella! Loaded with ingredients! Overall, maybe the dishes could have done with less salt.

We had a lovely dinner at Casa Portugal. The ambiance and decor were very pleasing. Service was friendly. We ordered for a starter Ameijoas á Bolhão Pato (Little necks, sautèed in olive oil, garlic wine sauce & parsley). These were okay. For our main meal we had: Mariscada á Costa do Sol ( Half lobster, little necks,shrimp, squid&mussels in a red sauce) , lamb chops served with rice Portuguese style and vegetables, and polvo a Lagareiro( Octopus with red potatoes in garlic olive oil. For dessert : Natas do Ceu and mango mousse. The octopus, lamb chops and mango mousse were especially good. The lobster in the seafood dish was also good. To be mentioned is that we asked the chops be cooked medium and they came medium well to well done, still they were tender and delicious. Overall it was a good dinner.
