Carlyle is a truly beautiful restaurant, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with both upstairs and downstairs seating. The wine display on the way upstairs was stunning and added a touch of elegance to the space. The service was amazing—friendly, fast, and attentive. The staff catered to everyone’s preferences, ensuring a personalized experience. There was a small issue with dirty water glasses, but once informed, they handled it promptly and professionally, which I really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, with a few minor notes for improvement. The calamari was flavorful, though the sauce being at the bottom of the plate made it a bit challenging to enjoy evenly. However, when combined, the flavors were delightful—a hint of lemon would elevate it even more. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, and the bread, while good, would have been even better served warm. The salad with champagne dressing was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the shrimp and grit cakes were simply top-tier—an absolute standout dish. Lastly, the deviled eggs were amazing and perfectly prepared. Overall, Carlyle delivered a fantastic dining experience. With just a few small adjustments, it could be flawless. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their menu!

I always enjoy the Carlyle but my experiences are always consistent. What is consistent is the food. I can always count on the quality dishes here. Some of my faves are the crab fritter, the goat cheese salad, and the ribs. My service is hit or miss. My last dinning experience we came in around 9:30pm and just wanted dessert and coffee. That may have been disappointing to the server since we were occupying her table and not order much but shouldn’t impact the service given. I would still revisit because i do enjoy the food and the overall atmosphere of Carlyle.

Absolutely a great experience with Josh, our server. he was very attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. Our dinners were perfectly cooked. Have never been disappointed with our many visits.

It was truly a great experience and i give all the praise to our waiter Issac! He made the experience awesome from the moment we sat down and to the moment we left. Food was 10/10. We got the spinach dip, hanger steak, and the salmon. Drinks were also great the mango martini was excellent!

Like the entire family of Great American Restaurants, this place was excellent. Delicious food & well trained service staff, who were genuinely hospitable. Discreet upstairs dining room. It was my 1st time at Carlyle but won't be my last. Right next to another excellent GAR, Best Buns Bakery.
