I've been a long time fan of board and brew, though they were only in San Diego when I first ate there. Over the years I've watched the company grow and inch closer to me. Now we have the cypress location which is pretty close. Great service, atmosphere is amazing and the sandwiches are fantastic.

The location itself has plenty of parking and the inside has suitable dining space for a quick bite. There were a lot of employees there. The bartender was conversing with the customers at the bar top throughout the duration of our time there, so we didn't have a chance to order beer. But the selection was vast, and the bartender was super attentive to those at the bar. The cashiers looked annoyed to be there, and when we explained that we didn't know what we wanted because it was our first time, he literally rolled his eyes. If I were alone, I would have left. But my husband doesn't care about customer service, it's the food. Which was good. I was a little disappointed in my sandwhich- ratio wise. There was just so much lettuce. The bread was fresh as we're all the other ingredients. The turkey tasted like it was freshly sliced and had a great temperature. Bacon was delicious. My husband and son both enjoyed their sandwhiches. My husband, in particular, said that his dip was perfect. There was one employee who walked out and started cleaning tables, which was super friendly and personable. Asked every table how they were, and even got me some foil and a bag. I couldn't see his name. We will likely order online in the future because, again, the food was good.

It is a sandwich so I expected more from the sides. The potato salad is very bland and may be the worst I have ever had. This place is a 4. Lots of shredded lettuce as well.

I recently visited Board & Brew - Cypress and had an amazing experience! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I ordered their classic turkey and avocado sandwich, which was bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced. The bread was soft, yet crispy on the outside, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The ambiance was cozy, with soft music playing in the background and warm lighting that created a relaxed vibe. It's the perfect place for a casual lunch with friends or a solo meal. Highly recommend it!

We had both the beef dip and pastrami sandwiches. They were easily the best hot sandwiches we've ever had so we'll definitely be going back regularly. 5/30/25 update. We went back and this time tried both chicken sandwiches...the experience was completely different. Both sandwiches had would couldn't have been more than 3 ounces of very, very thinly sliced chicken and about 5 ounces of shredded lettuce. I was really surprised given how much meat is in both the pastrami and beef dip. Flavor was just ok as both were overwhelmed with lettuce. On top of that, my wife's sandwich had two hairs mixed in with everything. They were great about it and gave her another sandwich and refunded the cost as well, but that will certainly put a damper on our desire to return.
