BlueSalt Fish Grill is a restaurant that fulfills your craving for seafood without breaking the bank. When my wife and I were looking for affordable seafood options, she discovered BlueSalt, and it felt like fate. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the portions are generous. During our last visit, we both ordered entrées, and our total bill came to just $33. The atmosphere is ideal for a beach city—laid-back and relaxing—with both indoor and patio seating available. The menu offers a variety of options, particularly for those who follow a pescatarian diet. I ordered the salmon sandwich, which greatly exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice enhanced its flavor even further. The sweet potato fries were seasoned well with salt and pepper and paired nicely with ketchup. I also tried the grilled snapper served over flavored rice, which was very tasty. I plan to return to try the Ahi tuna salad next time. Update: On my most recent visit, I ordered the Ahi tuna, while my wife chose the crab cakes. The tuna was a nice cut, cooked to perfection. I had my Ahi seasoned with Peri Peri sauce but needed more seasoning, so I added some Thai sauce. Together, they created a delicious combination!

This local gem truly lives up to its reputation, offering high-quality seafood dishes that cater to both seafood lovers and casual diners alike. We had the chance to try the scallops and shrimp with garlic sauce, black pepper seasoned corns! they were all perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The fries were crispy and tasty, complementing the seafood beautifully. One of the standout features was their fresh salads, which added a refreshing balance to the meal. Beyond the food, the service was amazing—attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s clear that Blue Salt Fish Grill is a local favorite, as we saw many families dining in, creating a warm and welcoming environment. If you’re looking for a casual yet high-quality seafood spot in Redondo Beach, Blue Salt Fish Grill is definitely worth a visit. Whether you’re dining in with family or grabbing a quick bite, you can count on delicious, fresh seafood and a great experience.

I have been here many times, even when this location had a C letter grade, but food wise it's never disappointed. Every meal I had here feels healthy, fresh, and filling. By the way their current letter grade is an A.. let's hope it stays that way!!

We recently discovered a gem of a restaurant in our own neighborhood! The menu features a diverse selection of seafood dishes, including grilled fish plates, salads, classic seafood recipes, fish tacos, and wraps. There is also a kid's menu available. You can choose from over sixteen seafood options, such as salmon, swordfish, mahi-mahi, halibut, and giant prawns. These can be grilled over an open flame or fried, and are accompanied by a variety of spices, sauces, and sides like grilled fresh vegetables, zucchini, fries, or rice. A key point for me is that they also offer gluten-free options. Their sustainably sourced, wild-caught seafood is available at a very affordable price. The location features a friendly staff and a pleasant, clean atmosphere reminiscent of a waterfront restaurant in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are very satisfying. We sampled two menu options: the salmon tacos, featuring corn tortillas, cabbage, cilantro, tomato, red onion, and chipotle dressing, accompanied by black bean salsa and rice pilaf, and the grilled ahi tuna plate, served with french fries and coleslaw. Both dishes were delicious and satisfying, and you have the option to customize them to your liking. Additionally, they offer a nice selection of desserts and beverages. We will definitely be back!

Honestly some of the BEST brussel sprouts I have ever had! I will literally go there just for them. My husband LOVES their salmon burger and we are always impressed with their ambience and customer service! One of our new favorite local spots to visit and take people visiting us.
