My friend recommended Blue Pan Pizza and told me it was the best pizza they ever had—and they weren’t lying. I really enjoy Detroit-style pizza, and this comes close to the best I've had. The crust is a perfect balance of crunchy yet soft, and it's not overly greasy. If you dine in, the presentation is really nice. However, this location is a bit small, so be prepared to sit close to others. Overall, it was a great experience with fantastic pizza.

Service was amazing from the staff that was welcoming, friendly, genuine /authentic and continually helpful. The Detroit style pizza was absolutely exceptional! The Little Rose was our FAVORITE and we wouldn’t change a thing! Who could do better?! The Brooklyn Bridge was fantastic in its own right with one exception: coming from a 98.5% Calabrian Italian . . . who has tried innumerable styles and manifestations of pizza from Italy itself, Chicago, New York, Detroit, I personally would add a little bit more sausage to the Brooklyn Bridge. That’s the ONLY subjective input . . . and hey, maybe the inventor of this pizza doesn’t want more sausage, lol! It was excellent, and the ricotta on the Brooklyn Bridge was refined, fresh and delicious. Five stars for this business and highly recommend to everyone! The server at the bar was amazing and the rest of the staff and especially the host by the front door was equally amazing!

This place was really great! For a very long time I have been hearing people talk about it. I am glad to have finally made it and got to see for myself. We started with a Greek salad which was excellent 9.5/10 lots of good things in the salad. The eggplant fries were pretty good and the garlic aioli was a great touch 9/10. The Detroit style pizza was the reason that we wanted to come and it did not disappoint. The Brooklyn Bridge was great 8.5/10, however I enjoyed the 3-1-3 much more it was a 9.7/10. I will say that this spot is very busy and they don't take reservations. We came on a Saturday night and there was a big crowd of people. They told us it would be more than an hour and 20 minute wait. We were very grateful that after about 20 minutes, they called and told us that they had our table ready. It is worth the wait. The service was great and the food came out fast. I will enjoy coming back here next time I am in the mood for pizza!

In an effort to not sound dramatic…I’ve been thinking back to all the pizza I’ve tried over the years. I’ve flown to Chicago and had amazing deep dish from the original Gino’s East (if you know you know). I’ve flown to NY and had amazing Ray’s east side pizza. I’ve flown to Italy and had amazing pizza there too! But here comes the drama…this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had! I highly recommend splitting your pizza 50/50 to maximize sampling their huge selection. The crust was so soft, but not soggy, on the inside and the deep pan corners were crisp to perfection! The ricotta on top of the Brooklyn Bridge added a sweet element, and paired unbelievably well with the garlic ranch (just take the extra calorie hit! Trust me!), and then the spicy peppers on the 3-1-3 gave it a roasted heat that was delish ish but not too hot. It paired well with their honey dip! Amazing!

Blue Hill, you were the first pizza place that didn’t disappoint. If you are looking for Detroit style pizza, you will be satisfied here. I dream of the Gold Hill pizza. You could even add a little green on top to take it a step further. We also ordered the Brooklyn Bridge, but it wasn’t nearly as good as Gold Hill in our opinion. I would substitute cream cheese for the ricotta next time. You don’t need a side of ranch here, put it away. Don’t even ask for it. Just eat the pizza Karen because you’re going to love it if you just eat it. Only -1 because the waiting list was confusing and the waitress was a little rude to us explaining how it works. If people are new, it might be a good idea to be nice to all customers. If you are waiting outside, maybe pop your head inside every and now and then because I think the hostess just forgot about us. The wait might be longer than expected, but the staff works quick and it’s so worth it. Parking nearby is just residential parking, be mindful of the residents nearby.
