We did the Chef's tasting menu and it was really good. And it was priced super well imo. The beer menu was decent as well. The food was all very good, I could go down each one, but apparently it changes so often that it wouldn't matter. Check out the pix though to take a look at it. And definitely get the chef's taster if that's your jam.

Of all the restaurants in Boulder, The Black Cat (now called Bramble & Hare) has as much heart and soul as it does flavor. We come here each year for my husband’s birthday for 5 years, usually with a group. During the pandemic, we went to the Black Cat Farm in Longmont, which is absolutely darling and worth the drive. We used to get the chef’s menu with the wine pairings at the 13th Street location. It was fun to be surprised for each course. Now that feature has moved to the farm restaurant. This restaurant is not for everyone’s budget, but the attention to detail is beyond. There are other expensive restaurants that serve dinner. The Skokans (Chef Eric and his wife, Jill) have created a place that makes us feel like we’re family friends visiting for the evening. I love how much they love their business. Now for the food… I’ve only once been disappointed in the 5 years we’ve been going. (During the 6 courses of the chef’s menu, pumpkin with chard was served twice and too soon in the meal. That never happened again.) Every dish is about the simplest combinations with the perfect amount of salt and/or butter to make it sing. Sip of the wine and all we had to say was how delicious it all is. Occasionally someone would bring up a new topic, but the food would rein it in! Dishes are rarely repeated, so my advice is eat up while you can and visit often.

Wow, just wow! Go visit the Black Cat Farmstead for dinner, all the things you love about Bramble and Hare and everything you love about Black Cat. The farmstead is amazing! Very charming cabanas that are perfect and cozy in the winter, each appointed a wood burning stove to keep you warm, fresh pelt to sit on to keep you cozy and the food is out of the world and so creative, we can't wait to go back! This last time we were greeted with amazing hors d'oeuvres, along with some ginger spiced apple cider and fresh churned butter you could enjoy with whiskey or rum! Each course was outstanding and the atmosphere was incredible! We chatted about are next meal there before leaving it was that good, if you have a special celebration, anniversary or just want to experience Boulder fine dining at its best go make your reservation to the farmstead, you will not regret it!

Wow! I was able to snag a last minute spot on Friday night for this fabulous experience. We were greeted with cider and butter, as well as beet relish and homemade bread. The atmosphere is so special and different- we lucked out with the best spot. You eat in a little greenhouse/cabin with a wood burning stove. The food was spectacular and each course was more special than the last. I highly recommend this place - amazing for an anniversary, a proposal, or for families too. They accommodated my husband’s dietary needs and the service was great! Thank you Reggie!

We went here for my husband's birthday and the experience was absolutely lovley. The atmosphere was perfect, the glass private dining areas were cozy during a rainy evening with a wood burning stove and candles. The food was excellent. The service was phenomenal. Can't recommend enough
