Thank's to every one for the Support. Due to the popularity of the restaurant ,we have been able to keep the prices REASONABLE. We are not perfect but we try to be better everyday. BDC is my favorite spot for French food! For a bone chillingly cold day, I ordered a French onion soup. Then hanger steak medium rare with shallot compote & red wine sauce and fries. Wishing my stomach had more room for some mussels and escargot, but I was already stuffed!

4.5/5 stars. I dined alone while on a business trip and had a delightful experience. The food and wine were great, service excellent, and ambiance was vibrant. I appreciate restaurants that can comfortably accommodate single diners and aren’t overly attentive. I had the Roquefort salad and the steak maison and both were good, the salad especially. The steak tasted a little charred for my taste, but was cooked well and the accompanying fries were crispy and not too salty.

Escargot was delicious! Came in for some snacking! But real surprise was the mussels au roquerfort! Changed the way I like my mussels! Would do again! And they were so large and flavorful! Kept dipping the dries in the jus!

Incredible authentic French food in the heart of Dupont Circle. I make a point to go if I am in the area, and it does not disappoint. A true gem.
