We have been using Barry Bailey State Farm for many years. We have insured numerous things with them, past and current, including vehicles, houses, camper trailers, and a boat. We've made a couple claims over the years and they were always responsive and helpful. They have also always been very friendly over the phone, and prompt to get back to us when we left messages. I can't speak to prices because I haven't "shopped around" for a while. I imagine there are some cheaper options out there for what we have insured, but there's also some subjective value in knowing that we're dealing with local individuals that have been responsive, and have a good track record for helping us out in the past.

Kim Allen at Barry Baily’s insurance office will make sure you get the best coverage out there. If State Farm can’t cover you, she’ll work until she finds someone who can help. When life circumstances prevented me from getting coverage from State Farm, she worked with another agent to make sure I got coverage that was equally as good as what I had before. She then went to bat for me and had a claim cleared from my name so that I was able to get my State Farm coverage back. She’s responsive, trustworthy, friendly and makes dealing with insurance kind of fun. Thank you Kim, for giving me total confidence in the work you do for State Farm customers.

Kim helped me late at night on a Saturday evening to secure insurance for a vehicle I am financing through the dealer. She was so helpful and kind, she was educated in the process and helped me with no complications. I was able to secure a lower rate with my current company but ultimately I really enjoyed the customer service the agent provided and her willingness to help at such a late hour on a weekend. I would recommend for anyone looking for insurance.

I’ve had numerous policies with Barry Bailey State Farm for over twenty years. Barry is personable and always takes time to ask about my family. I currently have 8 policies with them and do my best to ask clarifying questions regarding my coverage and premiums. Most recently Kimberly James was incredibly helpful and supportive in getting answers to complex questions about a rate increase on one policy over the course of two visits. She took me seriously and dug deep to get me the information I needed to make good decisions; at one point she wasn’t satisfied with the answers she was getting over the phone and instead of just giving me bad information, she made a call to someone else; she took a personal interest in getting accurate information back to me instead of just saying that’s the new price, deal with it… which is kind of what I’ve come to expect in this day and age. Kimberly also had a pin on her blouse in support of autistic people. Unbeknownst to her, it was a signal to me that she understood my desire to collect data and truth instead of just being dismissed as “obsessive” when it comes to understanding my own interests and advocating for them. These are good people who will go to bat for you and that’s exactly what I look for in an insurance carrier.
