Aventura began, like many seductive ideas, with creative humans seeking adventure. When Sava bought the 1800s building Aventura exists in, she was immediately inspired by the history, the patina, & the character of the space. Perhaps most significantly she fell in love with an antique table left behind by the previous owner – a symbol of the moments shared between people and the love of food, drink & overflowing hospitality. In the spirit of adventure, Sava and her team flew to Spain and immersed themselves in the Spanish experience, dining and imbibing on masterfully crafted Spanish gastronomy, delicious wines and gin & tonics. They discovered new ingredients, studied the design and architecture, basked in the culture and honed their vision for an authentic and meaningful Spanish restaurant in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Aventura is an expression of our love – our love for adventure, authenticity, & hospitality.

One of the most amazing restaurants I've been to. I tried Spanish cuisine for the first time and I must say that their food was amazing. Great food, great ambience, and overall a wonderful experience. Could seem a bit pricey so save it for a special occasion. Would definitely recommend.

We were celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary and man was it awesome, the food was absolutely spectacular everything from the small plates to the paella and the dessert absolutely perfect. But what made our day was our hostess Anya, she was the best thing about today, she was so friendly and explained everything to us with such patience and recommended such wonderful things. We could genuinely see how happy she was to know what we were celebrating. We are very touched and absolutely impressed with the service standard. Great experience! Highly recommend the bacon wrapped dates. The mackeral was a good starter, but certainly heavy on the salty flavor. The cucumber and tuna was a good followup, along with the mushrooms. If you like tapas or are looking to try them, this is one of the better places I have been.

Amazing, and making honor to the name, it is a great adventure and experience to enjoy this place and the high quality food chef Raul C offers!! The quality, love and perfection in the craft of each dish shines through. Their Paella Valenciana 🥘 is very authentic made with ingredients from Spain and a staple to try when you come. Their sangria was delicious as well as the tapas we ordered like croquetas, jamón ibérico, patatas bravas…every single dish was exceptional! Our servers were very kind and knowledgeable. Make sure you have reservations in advance as is a popular restaurant.. and when you try it you’ll know why!

We had an amazing experience at Aventura Ann Arbor! We arrived on a busy Saturday without a reservation, and Kevin went above and beyond to find us seats. The customer service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. And the food? Absolutely incredible! Every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. From start to finish, it was a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
