This east village cocktail bar has become like home they always take wonderful care of us and the drinks and food are so good!! We literally come here once a week because we love it so much!!! Definitely a hidden gem 💎 also Erkan is one of my favorite people in the world so… also Julio is #1 best chef in nyc 🤍🤍🤍🤍

We came upon AURA because of the high review rating and we were not disappointed. We were there during specials as it was before 5, and we had a show at 6. This made drinks very affordable at $14 each and they were delicious. We went with the waitress' suggestions on food and got a burger and their lemon chicken. The burger was cooked perfectly to the medium requested. The lemon chicken was the real star. You may think you're getting something like chicken francaise, but it is a texture and taste paradise. There are crispy potato bites, soft and delicious chicken breast, and a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables in a sauce that is just enough to leave you wanting more. We didn't do many tapas, opting only for the burrata - it, too, was delicious. I would make the suggestion of two bread bites to make more shareable as we only were served one.

✨️10/10✨️ If you're looking for beautiful drinks that taste just as great as they look then you've found the right place! The flavors are complex and delicious, the fruits are so fresh, the service was amazing and they've got a great playlist setting the vibes! Shout-out to my bartender Erkan, thank you for the drink recommendations! With quality comes a higher price tag at $19 per cocktail but it's 100% worth it, I can't wait to go back and try the food!

This place is slept on, seriously. This is the only bar in the area where the cocktails don’t taste like straight juice AND I actually get what I pay for. Also, the bartenders are friendly and the food is good too. I grew up not far from here and I’ve been struggling with the east village lately. I came with my friends and we had a blast and got stuff on the house. Thanks guys!! (Bonus points for comfortable bar seats). Pic of the bartender he was so great!!

We stumbled upon this place because of Resy, and we will be coming back for a long time. The servers and bartenders were very kind, and the owner Jesse was lovely and personable. Perfect place for tapas, and my burger-snob partner raved about the truffle burger. The cocktails also looked fabulous. My favorite was the figgy piggy bruschetta, I am definitely going to try to replicate this at home but I’m sure it will not be as good as at Aura.
