COME! HERE! NOW! If you like Cuban food, this is the place you're looking for!!! Everything was very authentic, and tasted AMAZING! We specifically got the beef empanadas, the Cuban sandwich and the Vaca Frita with fried plantains and rice/beans. Portions are great and very filling. You also get homemade plantain chips at the table which are great. On our tour of little restaurants in Colordo, this is one of the best!!! Highly recommend!! ALSO!! We had to thank the chef for the amazing meal, and he gave us Cuban Coffee on the house!! It was SOOO good! Go here ASAP!! It was so so so good!!! I truly can't emphasize it enough!

Better than most of the Cuban food I had while stationed in Florida! Arelita's is more than just the real deal, they are the example! We had plantain chips, which were thin, crisp, and perfectly cooked. My Cubano was heaven on a plate, and the Vaca Frita made history for our party. The Chef came to greet us, and was absolutely amazing. We were honored to share Cuban Coffee with him after our dinner. Tldr: go to Arelita, you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding food and service! So delighted to visit this excellent restaurant and to have authentic Cuban food in Colorado Springs. The family that own the restaurant are an absolute pleasure to visit with while dining here and the food is traditional and deliciously flavored and generous portions. Highly recommend the smoked pork chop and the mojo pork. The appetizer platter is enough food for a whole family. And the flan was literally the best I’ve ever tasted. We love this place and have added it to our regular rotation for dining out in Springs.

As soon as I walk into Arelita, “estoy en casa”- I am home. Growing up in Cuba, living in Miami for so long Cuban food has become a part of who I am. In Colorado, I struggled to find a place like this. I can only say one thing, Arelita reminds me of home, Amaury, the owner reminds me of family. The food is as authentic as the very food I had in my hometown of Cienfuegos, Cuba. Today, one of the many times I have come to visit, I had the yellow rice with smoked chicken and maduros. I was transported back to my house on the 3rd floor of our Cuban apartment where my mom made the exact same meal. On Saturdays, I have (more than a handful of times) had the pleasure of having the original and authentic oxtail - “rabo encendido”, with Cuban tamales and rice and beans. What a delight and punch of flavor. The owner, Amaury doesn’t just elevate the foods all Cubans grew up eating, he makes it with love. He enjoys coming to check on you, make sure you are satisfied with the meal, and delighted to bring you the meals he so passionately crafts. Arelita is an experience I hope people of all cultures can enjoy. While flights to Cuba are difficult and expensive in this day and age. A short drive to Arelita will transport you to the island. Latin music fills the restaurant, frames of the beauty of Cuba decorate the walls, and the Cuban hospitality is by far the best part. Could not recommend Arelita any more than I already have, deserving of all its glory and attention, and by far, the best restaurant and hospitality in all of Denver and Colorado Springs.

We were in the neighborhood for a show with friends and decided to try this place after seeing its 5-star rating on Google. It completely lived up to the hype. The food was incredible. We started with the sampler platter and ordered sandwiches for our entrees. Each sandwich was easily big enough for two. Be sure to come hungry! I’ll definitely be back.
