Specialties: Specializing in homemade pizzas, pastas, and limoncello, with a unique touch on chargrilled oysters and fresh oysters on the half shell flown in daily. Established in 1974. Angelo's has been a popular pizza destination for over years in a great Denver neighborhood on 6th Ave. Run by the Laveo family until March of 2013, when Eric Hyatt and Craig Jones bought the restaurant and it's recipes to continue the tradition of delicious Italian food but with a new, oyster twist! The two long time friends are proud to serve Angelo's favorite dishes alongside fresh new options, such as Arancini, Calamari, homemade pastas, seafood and char-grilled oysters! With an excellent wine menu and at tentative staff, Angelo's is excited to continue a Denver tradition.

Oyster happy hour is all I needed to hear to want to try Angelo’s! And they didn’t disappoint. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The spinach salad was also a great palate refresher. Loved the toasted ravioli too. Can’t recommend their oysters enough and such a good price during happy hour!

It was good.. but wanted it to be great. We had the mussels my husband had pizza I had the fettuccine with steak and gorgonzola. We had the brownie for dessert. It was heavy and dry. We waited for a table when there was obviously empty tables. Just felt like they were not at the top of their game

First time visiting and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Happy hour deals 👍 ended up opting for the toasted raviolis. Super crispy and delicious! Ordered one of their wines on tap for 2$ off. “Seyrah” was a very fruitful wine🍷 my entree was also very tasty. I went with the steak fettuccine Alfredo 👍 my friend order the lobster 🦞 gnocchi and it was also very good. I definitely recommend visiting here! Cute restaurant and bar. Loved the stained windows. 🪟 will return when I visit Denver again!

Angelo’s has some amazing food and service. Their oysters are a must, and the pasta is great too! It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends so plan ahead for that! There’s almost always open bar seating if you’re going alone or with one other person. The ambiance is perfect for both a date or a night out with friends!

Fantastic flavors that really pop. Wow! Great stuff. Visited from Utah and really enjoyed it. Lamb lollipops, Bolognese, Caesar (best Caesar I've ever had ... Strong dressing). Service was slightly slow but overall the food made up for that. Definitely loud and hard to hear your partner over the noise.
