Came here on a Thursday around 7pm and was able to get our food pretty quickly since it wasn't too busy. We tried the Amboy Style smash burgers with regular french fries and they were both so good. My wife and I are on the hunt for the best smash burger in LA so this place was on our list to try. Meat was very tasty and juicy and the bun was so light and fluffy so it made the burger not feel so heavy and overwhelming. We both got doubles and the portions were just right. They offer different patty types and different "Styles" so we're curious about trying the one with truffle sauce. They offer different types of sauces and yellow chilis like In-n-out so it really allowed us to customize to what we like! Can't wait to go back, plenty of street parking as well.

DH burger is a very efficient way to consume 10oz of beef. I think I may prefer a double instead. The fancy flavor is really nice with the aioli and Gruyère.

The 280 g dry aged patty was glorious in its medium-rare perfection. The crispy bread was great too, the cheese, onions & pickles were not overpowering but really contributed to the fantastic flavour. Not greasy at all. Incredibly friendly staff, really recommended.

Amboy is by far the best burger place I been in LA. I got their signature dry aged burger with fries. I found this place from a food guide website saying Amboy was ranked one of the top 5 burger place in LA. I truly agree with that. When I went, they let me spin a wheel to get a promotion; you can get 10% off, 15% off, free fries, extra napkins, etc. I got super lucky it landed on a 50% off. I am not sure if they do this regularly or if that was during a special season. However, I highly recommend everyone to come to Amboy for once. Get their signature dry aged burger. It is not a cheap burger, but it is definitely worth it.
