“Phenomenal” is how I would sum up our experience at Agnes. Totally deserving of their Michelin guide feature. The cornbread and chicken liver eclair isn’t something I’d usually order but I loved it. The beet carpaccio dish was unique and a whole adventure in itself. Then there was the corn panzanella, which was also not something I’d usually order but my partner had a good feeling about it and he was right. So good! In that dish, we just would’ve liked more of the heirloom tomatoes to balance the bread. The main dishes were great too! The service was five star, and they even gave us an anniversary card since we were there celebrating. Can’t wait to go back!

Great little place that I stumbled across while staying near Old Town Pasadena on a business trip. They happen to be doing a Sunday supper. It looked pretty good and that's what I had. Food service and atmosphere were all pretty good. The Sunday supper was Thai themed. The scallop appetizer with Tom kha sauce was amazingly delicious. As was the mango sticky rice dessert; best one I've had in fact. However, the main was duck breasts with what was supposed to have been a green curry sauce on it. The sauce tasted a bit weird to me; nothing like a green curry sauce I've had before. Plus, I did not like the fact that they had the duck pieces placed on top of simply steamed soggy cabbage leaves. So four stars overall for the food. With a bit of tweaking on the main this could have been a five-star meal. (By the way, I grew up in LA, live in Seattle now, and exposed to a lot of great authentic Thai food.)

Hidden gem! Nice selection of cheese and wine in there front store. The restaurant in back. Ambiance was great with expose brick, high ceilings and open kitchen. Food was great too with creative twist to dishes. Glad we found this place. Was there for brunch.

Agnes has been on my places to try for a while and I finally made it there. It didn’t disappoint. Service was very kind and attentive. Food was on point. The TAB was delicious and my husband really liked his chicken parm. The chicken parm was on the small side but the flavor was perfect. We also got to try the tater tots and they were totally to die for. We’d definitely order them next time. They also have a cute shop with some amazing cheeses and pâtés. We’ll be back!

The waitress was super sweet and attentive, very good service. The food was good, the lamb skewers were okay. The brie was extremely delicious, however charging an individual small piece $10 is exaggerated, in my opinion. The baguette was good, pâté was okay, the Corsican charcuterie was good. Overall, it is a nice place to visit for sure at least once.
