We made a Lunch stop here on our way to Florida. Our server Maverick was amazing. On our second visit we had Joseph who was also amazing. Both of them guided us through the Menu and this really helped as we were tired and hungry both times in our road trip. Great food, great Service. My wife loved the Tuna Salad. I loved the Prime rib sandwich and the Ribeye the second time. Thank you again

Just WOW! Knock your socks off customer service. Super attentive The food was excellent. Must have devil eggs. Simple but well executed. The steak and fish were incredible. Key lime pie stole the show. If your a fan of really good key lime pie, this will rock your world. I would even suggest you order this first. Why wait? Lastly the CEO of the restaurant group that owns 131 was working the floor. Now that was impressive to that type of leadership to the team If you are looking for a date night place, you will find it here.

So I'm editing this review a bit since we came back here for a second time and the rating stays a perfect 5 stars. 131 Main has become one of our favorite date night spots. The atmosphere is great! I would describe it as an upscale bistro. The prices for the food I think are reasonable considering the good quality. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cornbread is great, especially paired with the honey to balance some of the spice. We also really liked the smoked salmon appetizer. I ordered the filet mignon cooked at medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were also creamy and delicious. The service here is always solid. The waiters are clearly trained and professional. I would have liked it a bit more if we had the same server, it seemed like we had someone different come by our table every time so I'm not totally sure who we're tipping at the end of the night, but maybe it was just because it was a busy night they were serving by committee. Overall this is a really solid nice place that has become a regular place for us to spend our date night. We will definitely be back!

Best restaurant I have been to in NC. Everything that we tasted was phenomenal. Great atmosphere and even better service but the food was amazing and cooked to perfection.

Great dining experience. Reservation recommended for sure. Menu is small and on point. Is a nice date or special occasion place. We wore casual clothes and was fine
