Specialties: The cuisine of Southern Louisiana. Everything (except the chocolate cake) is made on site. Gumbo, Jambalaya, Etouffée, Red Beans, Creole, Poboys, BBQ shrimps...we even make our own Andouille, Tasso and (as time permits) Boudin! Live oysters, alligator, soft shell crab, frog legs and live crawfish boils in season. Established in 1998. New Orleans native and Chef Carter Hutchinson and his wife and manager Deb Hutchinson started a small restaurant in beautiful central Indiana to bring a touch of the south to the Midwest.

I am perfectly willing to make a 400 mile round trip drive to the middle of nowhere to visit and eat this food. Every single thing here is amazing. The trip is a pilgrimage for me and I have converted others to my Cajun religion

Had dinner there on 6/19/24 on a visit to Mooresville. Learned they serve crawfish etouffee so had to go have it. Loved the etouffee, but wife thought the crawfish poboy bun could have been better. Specialty drinks were very good. Atmosphere is fun and inviting. We'll return.

I've been waiting to visit y'all. Worth the wait!! Wonderful experience. Food was solid and the drinks made us happy... :)

I just moved to the area and I am so hurt its leaving at the end of December. I waited 45mins plus for food and i could not of cared less. Thank goodness for the good drinks and bread they provide after you order. The owner, bartenders..all are just so great. This establishment im sure will be missed. The shrimp po boy was a mess to eat but still good. I normally dont do a lot of salt so the garlic soup was salty but everyone else loved it!
