Everything was great, service was was immaculate. Atmosphere was nice, really appreciated the lamps on the table to not ruin the vibe but still allow me to read the menu đ The food was all stellar. The beef especially (not all pictured) was tender and perfectly seasoned. The pork belly was as well cooked as you can get pork belly and was perfect with the sweet potato. If you're into cocktails, the pisco sour with passion fruit foam was right up my alley with it being fruity but not too sweet.

This Peruvian spot truly delivers on all frontsâflavor, ambiance, and experience. The food selection was impressive, offering a variety of authentic dishes that satisfied both adventurous and classic palates. The pisco sour was on point, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of citrus and froth. One of the highlights was the open kitchen, where we could watch the chefs expertly craft each dish. It added a level of excitement and appreciation for the culinary artistry at play. The dining area was aesthetically set up, striking the perfect balance between stylish and welcoming. Service was equally fantasticâthe staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. And for those who enjoy a bit of people-watching, this place offered the perfect setup to soak in the lively energy around us. Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. If youâre looking for a great meal with a side of entertainment and ambiance, this spot is a must-visit.

This was my second time dining at Yunta, and once again, it reminded me why itâs truly in a league of its own. From the moment you walk in, youâre welcomed with warm, attentive service and an atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. The ambiance is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm â soft lighting, tasteful dĂ©cor, and music that adds energy without overwhelming conversation. One of my favorite features is the open kitchen concept. Watching the chefs in action brings a whole new appreciation for the artistry behind each dish. Speaking of which â the food is nothing short of phenomenal. Every bite is packed with bold, balanced flavors, and the menu consistently surprises in the best way possible. Yunta doesnât just meet expectations â it redefines them. Whenever someone asks me, âWhatâs the best restaurant youâve ever been to?â my answer is always the same: Yunta, hands down.

This place is so amazing! The food is a Peruvian fusion so for all the native Peruvians, it is not like eating in Peru, however, for those Americans, who have never had the privilege to try authentic Peruvian cuisine, this will still knock their socks off! The taste of the food is absolutely amazing. The Casitas with blue crab, and the lomo were phenomenal. The Amazonica rice plate and ceviche classico were also very good. Was a little disappointed with the Chicharron because one of the four pieces was only fat. However, the taste of it was good. Be sure to ask for the limo or Aji Amarillo sauce to dip the food in because it is incredible. The Lucama chocolate ball is out of this world. This place will definitely not disappoint. Also the Yuka balls were tasty, but probably would not get them again. The aji Amarillo sauce made them much better. I will also say that it is inexpensive restaurant and you do not get very large portions of most of the food. So donât come expecting large dishes.

Finally got in to try this place, a fusion of Peruvian/Asian fusion, not the first or the last of the concept. Ordered a few different items, and some drinks. The food overall was cooked very well, a little issue with the seafood risotto. Some of the seafood was overcooked and rubbery, but not too badly. The pork belly appetizer, was perfect if you ask for it extra crisp. The octopus was one of the best we've had in CLT area. A nice soft chew grilled right, and that fresh snap of the ocean. The fresh ceviche was great! Super bright, lime, fresh fish, and acidity. Would order each time. The timing was off on the food. About a 5-minute gap between each person being served their plate, so that was no bueno. The atmosphere is also nice, but also super dark, not even in a romantic way, just dark. Nothing overall like WOW but not a bad experience. Would go again, but would really just be if it's near or on the way somewhere.
