On our road trip I was looking for a perch dinner and we read the reviews of this little place. So lucky we are here on Friday where they have all you can eat perch. So I got that and my wife got the walleye dinner. This did not disappoint and was amazing. Everything was great, the vegetables were fresh not canned, the fish was fresh and lightly breaded. The wait staff was awesome. This will now be a stop when we come back to visit. Also I asked for fresh melted butter and some lemon and she delivered.

I found this place to be a little underwhelming. Expensive too. All in all, I didn't hate the place but didn't find it exceptional. I did get to try the turtle soup, which was quite an interesting experience. I didn't find it to be great, but it was worth trying I guess. It kind of tasted like alphabet soup. I ordered chicken wings also and they were above average but not much more than that. The sauce was pretty generic and the quality of the meat of the wings was average as well. The prices I found to be a little high. Mind you, there were only about 7 wings in the order and the turtle soup was not a big bowl. I ordered those 2 things and 1 draft beer and my bill came to about $30. The service was good, but it seemed like there were way too many people working. There were about 10 people working and about 18 customers. Even if the building were at full capacity, the amount of staff was excessive. Overall, the place was good but not $30 good. Perhaps I should have tried a dinner special and just got a water or something.

This is a very unique restaurant. The menu is very robust I don't know what to say other than the shrimp, oh my God the shrimp. The shrimp here were better than any seafood place that I can think of. I will come back here just to get the shrimp. Now that I am off of my shrimp boat I will say the nachos were quite tasty the Reuben was also very good. The carrot cake was alright. The restaurant itself is pretty nice however everybody is packed in there pretty good. Will be returning some day.

I stopped in by myself just yesterday on my way through town, and this is most definitely a place I'm excited to return to again! Walking in i was greeted by two staff members, with what appeared to be some local regulars sitting at the bar. Not only was the staff all kind and friendly, but the customers around the bar even made for some great conversation through my visit. As far as the menu goes, it was hard to choose here! I was wishing i wasn't alone to order more to try!! So many selections that all sounded so good, I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese which was for sure the best I've ever had! Getting my bill, I was completely shocked at how reasonable their drink prices were! And I didn't even order happy hour drinks!! Very very excited to try this one again! Definitely check them out! They're easy to get to, with plenty of room to accommodate small or large groups with a huge bar and plenty of tables in their dining area!! THANK YOU TRAPPERZ FOR A GREAT FIRST EXPERIENCE!!!!!
