Truthfully, I wept a little in joy. I would’ve sold my third eye to find this gem of a coffee shop years ago. I’m glad you’re here now Melody Maker 💕 Zac is the best! Staff are great too. I usually hang out here to get heckled by the owner, but as it turns out, the food and coffee are actually delicious - they have vegan options!! 🌱 The Lattes are better than big chain coffee shops and a bagel with cream cheese is delish. Not to mention, there’s guitars and gear to play with. Dream come true for us hungry musicians! I used to go to their first location on Water St which was great too, but the Main St location has been a fantastic expansion. But most importantly, they kept the hilarious sign!! The overall energy this place emits is coziness and creativity. As a creative myself, I feel so inspired whenever I step foot in here. Everyone is super friendly and I’ve met so many kind people. It’s a unique place. Well Melody Maker, you’ve successfully caught me, hook, line, and sinkah! And they use COMPOSTABLE coffee cups!! I can’t think of many coffee places that actually do that?! Can I get a HELL YEAH!!!! Eat your heart out, Starbucks! MELODY MAKER kicks your ass! 🎸 🎶

Do you need to urban bushwhack a bit to find this spot? Yes - just follow the puppies (because when have puppies ever let you down?). I came prepared (from the website's reviews) for the classically cliched punk rock experience - sneak in, steal a coffee, get boot stomped by the staff). What I got was good coffee and breakfast and great service, the kind of spot you want to become a regular at before too many people figure out what they've been missing.

Melody Maker Coffee in Clinton, MA is a total gem! The bagel and lox is the best I’ve ever had—super fresh, generous portions, and packed with flavor. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. And the coffee? Unbelievably good. Smooth, rich, and brewed just right—easily some of the best in the area. The vibe here is something special—you can even buy a guitar or bang on the drums while you’re there! It’s a creative, welcoming space that feels more like a community than just a coffee shop. If you’re anywhere near Clinton, do yourself a favor and stop in. Great food, amazing coffee, and a whole lot of character. This place is a must-visit!

Such a cool vibe. The coffee is great and the bagel sandwiches are sooo good. Go when they have how sweet it is pop up for an extra bonus. Her cookies and cakes are dreamy.
