We came in about 40 minutes until closing, so we didn’t want to keep our waitress waiting long, but she was so adamant about us staying and enjoying our time there. We got the wonton tuna nachos and valentines steak meal they were offering. When I tell you I had a sensual experience with the food, I had a sensual experience. My husband and I were in town from Columbus and we both agreed that back in Columbus, the food they were serving would be at a boujee upscale place at twice the cost. That’s how good it was. Our server, Peggy Sue, was so welcoming and funny. When I shared how much I loved the food, she brought out the chef, Megan, who shared all about the food and the care that goes in to making it. Peggy Sue came out later with some of the compound butter for the steak saying, “Megan said anyone who calls my butter a sensual experience should take some more home with them”. What an experience. It’s tempting to make the 3.5 hour drive just to eat here again.

pretty good meal at the "Deck Down Under" today. We had the crab cakes as well as onion rings and topped of with the whitefish with the capers. All was pretty good and Peggy Sue took great care of us!

There was 3 of us in the party and we all agreed 5 stars.. The white fish dinner is excellent! It was taco Tuesday and the perch, white fish, and grilled shrimp tacos are very good. The side salad was nice and fresh too. Very filling portions. The service was excellent too. Side note, the food is so good the waitress save some leftovers for herself. (Aka:Jenny)

Even with our large party the food came out quick and delicious. Our server was incredible and made sure we had everything.

We had a great meal- whitefish and the Alaskan Feast (1.5 lb of crab legs)- yummy! 😋 Jenny took great care of us, and was very welcoming from the time we sat down. Impressive whiskey/bourbon list with option of getting seasonal morel dishes. The menu had a great selection of seafood as well as a good mix of "turf" options. Very relaxed ambiance with a great mix of sea and hometown bar vibes. Will definitely make the hour and a half+ trek again!
