We made use of the MassSave Heat Loan program, with a loan through Northern Bank & Trust. NB&T was helpful and knowledgeable in originating this loan, and the MassSave Heat Loan program was of great value to us. We had some minor servicing problems during the course of this loan, but I am pleased to say that NB&T resolved them promptly and honorably. Having a problem is unfortunate - but having and resolving a problem gives me more confidence in any institution. Great bank to do your mortgage with, specially their residential loan officer Katherine provided us with all the information about being a first time home buyer and the possible programs and services we could look into.
