I had Spaghetti Alla Arrabbiata, Fiore pizza, and steak. They were all the best. The al dente of the spaghetti was just right. The steak was so juicy and savory. I think the resting of the steak was perfect. I like sitting sections was comfortable and beautiful.

The atmosphere and interior design set such a good vibe. Really good drinks, although the highlight was actually the arugula salad! All the food we had was delicious and I would recommend for a special occasion or fun night out.

After getting to know Chef Funke through Chef’s Table on Netflix, I finally had the chance to dine at Mother Wolf during a recent trip to LA. The restaurant is dominated by warm red tones, Murano lighting fixtures, and mid-century furnishings, creating elegant space. We were seated in the far corner of the dining room, which felt a bit disconnected from the energy of the restaurant. The center area was much more vibrant and lively—we definitely would have preferred to be in the heart of the action. Our server, Charlie, was absolutely fantastic. He welcomed us with a genuine, warm smile and provided excellent service throughout the evening. As for the food: • Squash Blossom: The tempura coating was light and crisp, stuffed with just the right amount of ricotta cheese—delicate and delicious. • Oxtail Meatball: Full of flavor and impressively moist while still holding its shape. • Diavola Pizza: Wafer-thin and delightful. The paper-thin salami was clearly a step above what you’d find at a supermarket—deeply flavorful and refined. • Spaghettoni alla Gricia: The highlight of the evening. Handmade pasta cooked perfectly al dente, with a creamy, well-seasoned sauce. The guanciale (cured pork jowl) was fragrant, crispy, and delicious. • Rigatoni with Guanciale: Served in a tomato sauce—equally satisfying and rich in flavor. • Lamb Belly Skewers: Probably the second-best dish of the night. Three skewers of beautifully grilled lamb belly cubes—tender, well-seasoned, and elevated by a touch of mint. For dessert: • Panna Cotta and Meyer Lemon Ice Cream (three generous scoops): Both were good and offered a nice, refreshing finish to the meal. Overall, the pasta absolutely lived up to the hype, and I would definitely go back again. P.S. Valet parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant. Limited street parking.

what an experience! we got an opening time reservation at 5 PM on a sunday and the resteraunt was very chill + cozy (whoever was on the aux had the best taste in music!). my friend and i shared all of our plates and left absolutely satisfied. from left to right italian cola, la piuma, artichoke pizza (unsure of the name), peach jam bruschetta, rigatoni all’amtricana, dark chocolate cake - all were absolutely divine! it costs a pretty penny, but is worth it to me! the staff was incredible!
