Built in 1:6th scale, Magic Town houses the hundreds of sculpted characters, hand-crafted buildings, and intricately detailed alleyways. In addition, Michael Garman adds trick lighting so entire rooms and alleyways transform right before your eyes, holograms that tell stories about life if Magic Town, and sound effects to pull you back in time to a gritty Americana of yesteryear. Established in 1975. Michael Garman began building Magic Town in 1975 as a home for his sculptures. Magic Town is Michael Garman's personal autobiography, depicting life in the various cities he lived in over the past 7 decades - Dallas, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Manitou Springs, Buenos Aires, Santiago and more. It took over 10 years to complete the first phase of this miniature city, and another 40 years to complete his vision. Each building is handmade with intricate attention to detail. Hundreds of characters inhabit the cafes, sidewalks and tenement apartments in Magic Town. Each one invites you to peer into their lives as they reveal personal stories of grit, determination and humor. All admissions include a complimentary bag of popcorn and a scavenger hunt. By searching for hidden treasures in Magic Town, visitors are encouraged to peer into windows and down magical alleyways as they uncover mysteries and hidden stories.

This place is amazing! If you can appreciate the creativity and craftmanship of this incredible piece of art, this is a must see. I was just looking for a quick activity on a short stop through and am glad I found this. It's small! But there is sooo much detail that it kept me engaged much longer than other things. The scavenger hunt is fun solo or in a group and the guy at the counter was very friendly. It could provide some pretty silly photo ops for creative photographers too.

Absolutely incredible! This is a must see. The little details in everything is mind blowing. It’s small but it takes you awhile to really look at every little thing. Highly recommend!!

Get a scavenger hunt and take the time to look around at all the small details. Become immersed in a magical town of perspective with the sounds of the town surrounding you. Peer into the windows as a voyer into a fantastic play with mirrors and light showing you that fantasies can change in an instant. This place is phenomenal! It's unexplainable. I highly recommend a visit. It's incredibly creative and detailed. I loved every moment of my time there.

This was actually insanely fun and i would 10/10 do again. Felt really unique and I’ve never been to any museum close to this.
