2nd generation owned. We are from the Midwest we come to Boston area because our daughter goes to college out here so we really don’t know one lobster place from another until we go there. We all had the 6 ounce cold lobster roll, was AMAZING & it came with french fries. We ordered the large onion ring, which is enough for four people maybe more. The onion rings are like straws, crunchy, not oily perfect breading just like their fries. Home made clam chowder is a MUST try! Will definitely come back here, everything on the menu looks to be just as good- made to order! They have a big dining room- good for large parties. They do a lot of takeout as well.

I am very pleased with the food and service. It's really fresh and tasty. First I got a clam chowder. It was really good. The taste was on point. Later, I got a tray with shrimps and onion rings. The shrimps were really big and the onion rings were awesome. What I liked most was that were not greasy like other restaurants. It were really yummy. My family was delighted with our choices. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll definitely come back.

The first thing I’ll say about the place is to prepare yourself for a hefty meal. Atmosphere: My family and I were looking for a lobster place and we found this local place. When we entered, ye atmosphere was great, it was welcoming, lots of good furniture, and you can even see inside the kitchen. Service: Service was okay, I understand that some of the people at the register couldn’t understand our order, but it was alright. The food came surprisingly fast which was great, it took about 10 minutes. Food: When I first looked at the price of the food, it was surprising. Almost 30 dollars for 6 ounces for a lobster, but I did not realize the sides they gave as well. They gave us a lobster roll (with butter) and gave us a side of fries and coleslaw, also we got the popcorn shrimp and the clam chowder. Number 1: The lobster The lobster was okay. Nothing that fully exploded in my mind, but it was fresh and good. Unfortunately the butter was cold so it was kind of underwhelming, if it was hot then it would be much better, 8.1/10 Number 2: Fries Fries was surprisingly full of flavor, it was really good. Crispy, Crunchy, and not that dry too. Very well executed. 8.6/10 Number 3: Popcorn Shrimp The popcorn shrimp was okay. I could tell that it was fresh but the crispness was lacking and it was a bit soggy. Overall it was okay taste. 7.6/10 Number: Clam Chowder Clam chowder was decently good. Good flavor, they provided crackers, and the flavor is what you would expect from a regular clam chowder. 7.3/10 Overall score: 7.9/10

Lobster Claw is 10/10. Not only do they have delicious food, they also leave full sized ketchup bottles at the table and as a person who puts ketchup on everything (yes, even my seafood) this made me so happy! The lobster roll and fries were fantastic and I also really loved that you go up to the counter, order food, and seat yourself. There was also 90s/ early 2000s music playing in the background and it was such a vibe. I felt like I was at the beach or on vacation. 100000000000% will be going back!
