dLeña has easily become my favorite place for a quick dinner after work in DC. The vibe is always on point, elevated yet relaxed, making it perfect whether I’m winding down solo or meeting up with friends. Their happy hour is solid, with great drink specials and some seriously crave-worthy bites (the tacos and guac are non-negotiable). But the real star for me is their bottomless brunch. It’s one of the best in the city; delicious food, flowing drinks, and a fun, lively atmosphere that somehow still feels classy.

The interior was beautiful, and the food was so delicious. Very happy to have visited this place during my stay in DC. They have Bottomless Brunch for $48 (food only) which seems like an amazing deal if you’re hungry or want to try multiple dishes. I would recommend this place to everyone and come back here myself.

It's clear that the design of the space is thoughtfully artistic — everything, from the overall layout of the walls and windows to the details of the tables and plates, is beautiful. Our food was truly a feast for the eyes and delicious, with flavors we had never tried before — and it was very satisfying too. The drink was also very enjoyable. At the beginning, they bring you a little pomegranate juice, which is sweet and refreshing. The people and overall vibe are cheerful, classy, and pleasant. If you're looking for a quiet dinner for two, the upstairs is ideal. But if you're in a group and want to enjoy live music and a livelier atmosphere, the downstairs area is more suitable. The restroom is clean, and the mirrors there are perfect for taking full-length, cute photos. There's just one point that keeps me from giving a perfect score: The waitress at the table next to us was very kind — we saw how she explained the menu (which doesn’t have much English detail) to her guests, kept checking in to ask if everything was okay, and was generally very attentive. But our waiter, a middle-aged man, didn’t seem very patient. Twice he tried to take my plate before I was finished, and I had to tell him I was still eating. We told him it was our first time there and that we were trying to translate the menu, but he didn’t offer any help. He also didn’t take away the appetizer plates when the main course came, so the table got crowded — we had to ask someone else to remove them. And before we even asked for the check — in a place that's supposed to be a fun dining experience — he just brought it to our table on his own! We left a zero tip and waited for him to come ask why, so we could explain the issue to him personally. But instead, he told his colleague about it and they both gave us sideways looks — very inappropriate behavior for a restaurant of this kind. Aside from that, everything else made for a lovely experience.
