First visit here after reading great reviews here and elsewhere. What a great addition to the Waterford restaurant scene. Authentic Cajun in Waterford? Yes! I was in the area so picked up a 16oz Gumbo with seafood. At $17.95, not an inexpensive lunch but this is the real deal. The gumbo was absolutely delicious with a generous amount of seafood. I love hot food but a word of caution to those who do not, the gumbo is definitely spicy as it should be! It's clear the folks running this place know what they are doing in terms of genuine Cajun. I hope the area will support this place as I will for sure return.

Everything we tried was 10/10, absolutely delicious and even better than the food I’ve had in New Orleans! The owners/chefs are also super nice and friendly, cannot recommend this place enough.

Got carry out to try a few of their items.. it was the best dining experience I have had in some time. The portions are plentiful, food is well seasoned. They do not skimp on anything, and it doesn't cost your arm and a leg.

I went in because I have been to New Orleans many times and always loved and missed the gumbo, so I was excited to try this spot as its close to home. Upon walking in, I was instantly greeted by the family, who were super nice and very welcoming. I got the chicken gumbo and red beans and rice. The gumbo was good, but I'll be honest, it didn't have the flavor I was looking for; it could be a lot better, but I wasn't mad. Same with the red beans and rice; it just didn't have the flavor. Both were good! Don't get me wrong, they are just missing something, but I will definitely be back!

I haven’t been to New Orleans in a while…but these guys took me for a quick trip with their food. The gumbo was delicious and the fried chicken poboy was irresistible. The mix of spices hit different…that southern flavor is unmistakable. A real gem with great staff. Can’t wait to visit again!
