I’ve known Franco, the owner for years. This place is always been a Hermosa Beach staple. It’s a great little store with all the essentials if you don’t want to drive. Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Good selection of beer and wine. Fresh produce and a fun little deli. Sure the prices are a little higher, but you’re a block from the beach so what do you expect. I love coming here and look forward to coming back.

Beach cities locals are so fortunate to have Boccato’s in their backyard. Franco (owner) and his team run a first-class market and deli that is loaded with fresh vegetables, delicious cuts of fresh meat (filet mignon, thick-cut bacon, homemade meatloaf, salmon, a great variety of marinated/seasoned chicken breasts and so much more!), imported Italian pasta and everything from specialty candy and ice cream to craft beer. Love nice wine? Boccato’s carries really, really nice wine: Lokoya, Dominus, etc. Looking for good booze? Boccato’s features a whole wall of high-end tequila, vodka, gin and more. TIP: grab a fruit smoothie and artisan deli sandwich on your way to the beach (ocean is one block away). It’s a one-stop shop with charcoal, firewood, home essentials, sunscreen and nightly dinner specials like chicken enchiladas with rice & beans, salmon with rice & veggies, etc. LOCALS TIP: They’ll let you set up a tab for monthly billing so next time you’re at the beach or on a run, you can swing by, shop & sign! No wallet necessary. All this plus friendly, helpful and personalized service from Franco and his great crew!

Boccato's Is a local GEM and a welcome surprise to a new comer to the area! An extensive array of groceries from all around the area! Some super hard to find grocery products! High quality vegetables and fruit and a meat counter that cannot be rivalled in the area! Unbelievably good quality meat and produce! The deli counter has some of the very best deli meat and bread you can eat! Homemade salads that will knock your britches off! I highly suggest the chicken salad, Every bite is scrumptious! Grab a sandwich and head to the beach! Most nights they have a featured dinner that is out of this world! I Follow them on social media for great no-fuss dinner options!

Really nice atmosphere with plenty of locals stopping by throughout the day. Owner and employees are really friendly, making you feel welcomed the entire time. Got a sandwich and it was much bigger than I was expecting lol. Everything tasted fresh and along with the cool breeze of the ocean, I would definitely stop by again given the opportunity. Also if you really want to you can buy an entire jar of pickles to go with your sandwich if that's your thing 😂😂

Love this place , great service and the team making the food is always synchronized . La torta de carnitas is something special I used to work on highland and it was Mando 1-3 times a week for lunch. They have a variety of drinks to go along with the wonderful food . Thank you team as my experience has always been pleasant especially from the cooks and preps keeping all the delicious food going . 💎 Gem in the South Bay
