My girlfriend and I stopped in after some Christmas shopping. The restaurant is very close to where my girlfriend lives & she stops there often. We went to the "upstairs bar" because the downstairs had a crowd. I think it was trivia night. There were only 3 other people in the bar area when we arrived (a little after 6) & the dining room was empty. It was a Monday night & those 3 left within the hour & no one else came in while we were there. We ordered a couple of Black Jack Margaritas. We eventually perused the menu. They had a well priced specials menu. I've ordered the fried seafood platter off of that before & it is a lot of food. But we decided to split the crab cakes appetizer off the regular menu. They arrived promptly. 2 nice sized crab cakes, perfect for sharing. They were full of crab & not a lot of filling & the accompanying sauce was perfect. Everything was tasty, but it was cold! So we sent the crab cakes back. They didn't just reheat the original dish, they replaced it. The 2nd attempt was heated through perfectly. We would definitely reorder again. Our check for 3 margaritas, 1 chardonnay, & the crab cakes came to about $52.

I haven't been in many years and it's still good!! Waitress was incredibly professional. The food menu is good size and has something for everyone. We had the calamari and the potato skins both good. Nothing mind-blowing, and I've definitely had worse. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was delicious ff slightly undercooked. I had the prime rib. It was a generous portion and cooked perfectly, but it was slightly tough. Not bad by any means, but have to be honest. The daughter had the turkey dinner with stiffing and mashed, and I tried some, and it was good. My Manhattan was perfect. The place is old and like any old restaurant it looks dated. It was clean from what I saw. Bathroom was clean as well. Prices are in the 18-40$ range.

Food was fantastic! Got the Maple Glazed Bourbon Salmon on Rice Pilaf and the Baked French Onion Soup. Went at noon, and there were no hostesses available for seating. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Emily, my waitress was very pleasant.

The food was good. Kids meal prices were reasonable and included drink and ice cream. No crayons for the kids. Thankfully, we had our own. Service was okay, but I think our server was new and may have led to some of our delays. The atmosphere was something out of the last century, and the building had a bit of a maze due to the building additions.
