Intermediate Ceramic Handbuilding with Julie S. Monday Mornings 10a-12:3p The Art Center Handbuilding - Beyond the Basics Dive deeper into the art of handbuilding ceramics in this intermediate-level course designed for those who have a basic understanding of clay techniques and are ready to expand their skills. You will explore advanced handbuilding methods, experimenting with texture, surface decoration, and complex forms while developing your own unique style. Must have completed four or more handbuilding courses or have equivalent experience. Please bring your own set of tools and your ideas to class. *Included in the price of your class is a 25lb bag of clay as well as 2.5 hours of open studio time per week, to be used immediately following your class. Students may purchase 1 additional bag of clay from The Art Center over the course of the session. For a total of 50lbs maximum per session. *Upcharge for porcelain clay: 1st bag $20, 2nd bag $50. Clay can be purchased at the front desk.
