I'll start by saying I'm not usually one to buy or even go into a dealership. I've had friends that work at them, I know their tactics, and generally can get a better deal on the private market. That said, wife and I were in the market for a lightly used Honda Pilot and had narrowed down a trim and only a couple colors we liked and there just weren't many around Phoenix where we're located. I have tons of air miles and so my search expanded to the whole country for the best deal. In the end it only came down to an extra $1-2k off if I travelled to a winter state but I ultimately got down to a fair price on a beautiful '23 Pilot Elite from our sales rep Chayden at Long Beach Honda. Not only did she work with me over text message and phone calls for several days while I shopped other dealers in other states, she ultimately picked me up from the Long Beach airport and made my morning at the dealership about as straight forward and pain free as it could have been. The car was clean and waiting for me to test drive, I had to wait a few minutes before seeing a finance manager, but not too bad. Chayden even helped me out with a couple small last minute requests I had to be thrown in at no extra cost. In my time hanging around the dealership I didn't see any sly backroom talk or high fiving, just sales folks all working hard running around to help their customers. I won't say this dealer won't ever try to put one over on you. They're all in the business to make money, but I think you can go here after having done your research and expect a no BS experience. I have Honda FIT 2016, I had a problem with my car for over 3 years. I went to different mechanical places and every time they told me it’s my battery. I replaced my battery every year, this year I replaced it twice. Mechanics kept telling me it’s a battery. This month I went to 2 different places and they charge me 190$ for diagnostics and then told me they can’t fix my problem and I need to go to Honda place. Long story short, when I came to Honda place they helped me right away, didn’t charge me for diagnostics at all. They fixed my problem for free, because it was under warranty. I have to return again because I had 1 more problem, body control module, they find what’s wrong right away and fixed it in 2 days. Shawn was helping me, he was calling me, texting me and answering all my questions. Perfect service, very helpful, respectful, responsive. I leave 1 hour away from Long Beach Honda, but I will definitely bring my car there always. Thank you , this is the best car service I had in a last 7 years. No stress no worries, I can trust my car to Long Beach Honda place .
