I am closing on a house today and needed to transfer the closing cost, however, I discovered the daily wire limit is hard set to $25k and there's no special way to change this. After speaking with several customer service reps on the phone without luck and being left frustrated to say the least, I contacted my local branch to see if they could be more helpful. The first rep I spoke with was polite and listened to my case, he quickly escalated this to the branch manager, Evan. Evan was attentive and showed that he understood my concerns, that the funds needed to be sent today, and it's a case that's out of the ordinary, as I wasn't able to be in the branch physically due to me being out of the country currently. He was able to come up with an out of the box thinking and provided a solution that finally resolved the issue, which other call centre reps weren't able to do! All this while being under pressure and from my title company rep being very firm on him, yet he handled every moment with utmost professionalism and keeping my best interest in mind! This has given me confidence in continue banking with Chase and especially with this branch! Thank you Evan & team. I really appreciate what you all do to assist your customers!
