She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University in 1985, majoring in Political Science with minors in Economics and Philosophy. Attorney Marino obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1988 as a graduate of the Boston University School of Law, where she was an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar. She was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1989. She began her practice in Revere, Massachusetts, in 1989 in association with Attorney Leonard E. Pass. In 1995, she opened her full-service law firm in its current Winthrop location.
